Hmmm…since Faithfull's notorious smoking had already
stopped after her prior collapse from exhaustion in Milan, in 2004, the
first article seems to be blended information, and thus cannot be relied
upon as completely accurate.
I trust more Faithfull's own assessments anyhow; after all - NOBODY
knows Marianne like Marianne knows Marianne - and since her current movie
Marie Antoinette (2006) is already in post production, and since she was
in the middle of a European tour when this news was first reported
(presumably to pick up where the cancelled Milan date had left off), I
suspect the rumors are nothing more than that.
Though it is difficult to account for the comments of boyfriend/manager
Francois Ravard, and other comments which were attributed to the director of
Dorian Gray, BuzzMix®
feels confident in speaking for Marianne Faithfull fans in Chicago and
everywhere in hoping that she is in excellent and renewed health, and that
these rumors are unfounded.

British rocker Marianne Faithfull is
devastated doctors ordered her to pull out of new movie
The Picture Of Dorian Gray - after she suffered
a recent heart attack. The 58-year-old singer was thrilled she'd won the
lead role as countess in the movie adaptation of Oscar
Wilde's celebrated morality tale. But she had to quit the film just
before filming was due to start, after she was rushed to hospital with
severe chest pains. Faithfull's manager and boyfriend
Francois Ravard tells gossip website PageSix.Com, "Marianne
really wanted to do it but had to pull out at the last moment. She had a
slight heart attack, but she's fine now." The health scare has finally
prompted Faithfull to stop smoking her trademark cigarettes.

LIES

British rocker Marianne Faithfull is shocked by reports
she recently suffered a heart attack -- because she insists she is in good
health.
Page Six reported the 58-year-old singer pulled out of the new movie "The
Picture of Dorian Gray" after being rushed to the hospital with severe chest
pains.
But Faithfull is furious no one checked with her before printing
the unfounded story, because her loved ones have worried about her for no
reason.
She fumes, "These horrible rumors are completely untrue. I haven't had a
heart attack, not even a slight one.
"It's upsetting that so many of my friends and family have been forced to
worry unnecessarily about my health.
"I'm currently on tour in Europe and I want to reassure everyone coming
to the shows that I'm OK."
