THE SATORI PROJECT LIGHTS UP CHICAGO!

"Zen Masters use the word "Satori" to describe a flash of insight, a movement of no-mind and total presence.  Presence is needed to become aware of the beauty, the majesty and the sacredness of nature.  It gives you a tastes of enlightenment.  Be grateful when it comes, for it is not a lasting transformation.  You may indeed have experienced it many times without knowing what it is and realizing its importance.  Beyond the beauty of external forms, there is something more:  something that can not be named, some deep, inner, holy essence.  It only reveals itself when you are present."

- Christopher Perricelli - Creator and Producer - The Satori Project

On Monday evening, December 1, 2003, The Vittum Theater (1012 N. Noble, Chicago) hosted a one-of-a-kind event that highlighted some of Chicago's leading talent in comedy, theatre, music and dance.

THE SATORI PROJECT featured comedians from Dirty South Improv, Improv Olympic, and Second City; dance from Instruments of Movement and Chicago Dance Crash; a world premier by NextLevel talent agency and MORE!

THE EVENING WAS AN UNQUALIFIED SUCCESS, AND DREW AN UNEXPECTED BUT VERY WELCOME TURNOUT!
